THE STORE LAUNCHES KEMPEN BELI BARANGAN MALAYSIA

TARGETS 100,000 CUSTOMERS SPEND FOR MALAYSIA


 

The “Kempen Beli Barangan Malaysia 2020” launched today at Sungai Buloh complex, Market Place by The Store which was initiated by Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) to help stimulate domestic economic growth, and at the same time, improve public awareness of the quality of locally made products. Among whom presents at the event are Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade, Co-Operative and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) Yang Berhormat Dato' Rosol Bin Wahid; Secretary-General of KPDNHEP Yang Berbahagia Datuk Seri Haji Hasnol Zam Zam; Deputy Secretary-General of KPDNHEP Yang Berusaha Dr. Alauddin Bin Sidal; The Store Group’s Ambassador, Ms. Adibah Noor; and the management team of The Store Group to support for the event.


The Store Group has targeted about 80 percents of products carried in store are Malaysian products which consists of daily essential needs, household essentials, electrical appliance, health and beauty products, said Mr. Mark Loo.

The campaign was starting in July and will be ended by 31st December at all The Store Group of companies outlets, including The Store Supermarket & Departmental Store, Pacific Hypermarket & Departmental Store, Milimewa Superstore, Market Place by The Store, Market Place by Pacific, TS Concept Store and Super Jimat stores.


The campaign also aimed to strengthen the spirit of patriotism among consumers to help local entrepreneurs promote various types of locally made goods, products, and services due to the impact by the covid-19 pandemic. Various activities had planned during the campaign period including up to 30% super savings, PWP (Purchase with Purchase) promotion, great deals on second purchase, contest etc to encourage consumers to spend for Malaysia.

Also, The Store Group has developed strategic collaboration with potential local entrepreneurs such as SMEs, PKs to promote Malaysian-made products and help local businesses. Various products are offering at our Super Jimat stores with only RM2.10 each .

Meanwhile, The Store Group has provided an alternative digital platform – The Store Online or Pacific Online as a promotion medium for customer who prefer to shop online.


The Store Group hopes to attract more than 100,000 customers during the campaign period and to support Prime Minister called upon customer “Spend for Malaysia”, hence to help the local companies.

Lastly, The Store Group would like to express gratitude to Ministry of KPDNHEP for the support and look forward a good relationship in future.
